The Errew PA undertake superb work in the area of fundraising from annual flag days to innovative initiatives to help the school.

Funds are used to top-up grant aid, and in the past have also been used for a fleet of modern chrome books and headphones, for the annual ice-cream van, contributions to buses for outings from swimming and football and Tri Heroes and trips to the museum among a raft of other things.

We get on the road, due to their contribution to their children’s school. Staff in particular are grateful for this, as we always like to make leaning as active as possible.

The PA also organise events in conjunction with the Community Centre.

Some members of the PA have undertaken Garda Vetting, to be present if and when the school may need an extra pair of hands.

Some members of the PA are involved in the establishment and on-going organisation of the Before and After-School Childcare Facility.

Various members of the PA who have also had roles on the BoM, have helped ratify policies and communicate initiatives to the general parent body.

The PA work tirelessly promoting the school and spreading the good word about our little school in this small village, and beyond.

School Uniform

In 2022, the PA did some magnificent work in transforming our serviceable grey uniform into the bright, dynamic one we have today! It reflects our happy school and jovial, familial atmosphere perfectly!

The school uniform consists of black tracksuit bottom and either the red crew neck jumper or red zipped hoodie.

• Cresting is included in the price of the top. (Crew €15 – €20; Hoodie €25 – €30)

• Parents can call in store to try on sizes before ordering.
• Tops can be purchased throughout the year if needed.
• Each 6th class group undertake a specialised hoodie of their own choice and colour, to reflect their preferences as a group.  A parent kindly organises same each year.

Be part of the community culture:

• If you’re enrolling your child with us, ask to be included in the class WhatsApp group, you’ll be part of the gang and can stay informed at a community level. The PA will ensure you feel involved.
