Some SPHE work

We have been doing Stay Safe. We have our traditional hands below, with a copy of pages from How to Hide a Lion by Helen Stephens.

We used this book during our discussions on bullying.

We also made some penguins to help with our problem solving skills!

These penguins were inspired by Geronimo, a very funny book by David Walliams, well worth a read.

Confirmation is Approaching

As we prepare for our special event, we made scratch-art doves, exploring artists such as Bridget Riley and Picasso’s Dove of Peace, as a stimulus.

The children coloured doves, using wax crayons. We over-painted using black acrylic paint.

When the paint was dry, the children used stylus tools to gently scratch the desired patterns, lines and designs.

Some outstanding work by our seniors. Very special art for a very special time in their lives.
