Tonal Painting Pumpkins!

The children created ‘tonal’ paint strips- some with gaps, some blended, all unique.

They cut these out and shaped these into pumpkins using toilet-roll inserts as the core.

The children problem-solved their way through either gluing, stapling or taping- each pumpkin is delicately unique!

Some Spooky Hallowe’en Work!

3rd to 6th class made some Hallowe’en characters, using their knowledge of angles, and then measuring various angles with their protractors.

We stuck magnets on so they can be displayed on the fridge at home!

A very creative response to our mathematical criteria.

Beware!
