Warning- not for all audiences!!!
We’ve been reading a child-friendly version of the play, and have embraced it in all its gory glory!

Beware!
We’ve been busy at school preparing for this exciting spell in time! (No pun intended!!!)
We made Hallowe’en íaltóga, using tones of our mixed colours, and radiated these out behind our stylised bats.
Can you spot them peeping from behind our haunted tree?!

We made Spooky Haunted Houses and explored colour wheels!
We also experimented with bouncing light, using torches and mirrors to reflect light to get it through our sugar paper tunnels and spaces!

In STEM, we’ve been designing and making haunted houses.
We investigated light, so included some opaque, transparent and translucent elements in our work.

We used mirrors and reflective paper to reflect light.

We tested with torches but also made circuits with switches to light up our abodes!

We all achieved what we set out to do, and met the criteria on our rubrics.

We made colour wheels using compasses and measured using our protractors, having divided our 360 degree circles by 7- the number of colours in the rainbow.

The light reflects the colours so quickly, the eyes and brain can’t see them, so we see white!

A fun day at school!

We also made lines and angles monsters- can you spot the acute, obtuse and reflex angles?

All in a flurry, since we’d been so busy making and PE’ing and spinning, we sowed some spider baby monsters.
Some of these will thrive and grow into huge spider plants with their own babies.
We’ve seen the evidence, have a look at past posts to see how well some spider plants have done at home!

Special thanks to our photographer who helped today, to record all we do!
Check out our explanatory writing work!
