We’ve been studying for our Confirmation- the gifts The Holy Spirit is giving us; our shiny scales.
We’ve been studying our Stay Safe and SPHE; sometimes we have to make difficult decisions.
We’ve been persuading in English.
And we’ve been on a zoom for some STEM work with a marine biologist who is an expert in Seahorses!
So, we combined out sea-based forces!

Sometimes we shine most when we’re willing to make a sacrifice and share our skills.
Seniors attended an online zoom workshop. beamed from Co Kerry with a team facilitating town planning, all courtesy of The National Museum.
We received a kit, and had a go planning spaces a town needs- building on our STEM workshop from earlier in the week.
Rapidly, the children plotted the necessary spaces to build a town, and then expanded their town with the necessary spaces to create a dynamic town.
We started with a church, the heart of the community, and went from there.

We used some borrowed trundle wheels to measure our biggest yard, the school building and shelter.
We completed some tasks in the field, calculating perimeters and areas!
