Juniors made beautiful flower pots after their spring planting lessons!Seniors planted pots of cress for their Mother’s Day gifts. We used our lollipop sticks from mixing our compost pellets to label our seedlings. We added layered butterflies to chopsticks and placed them in our pots!We read a poem called The Kiss, about a memory of a mother’s love. We used it as a stimulus for special messages, and attached them to our little pots or wrote about them in our cards.
The poem recognises the constancy of a mother’s love. It’s always there for us, we are loved unconditionally by our mammies!
A very clever pair created the cuffs for the pots and we attached handles and of course, the beautiful butterflies! Our cress pots with our cards!Gorgeous!Happy Mother’s Day!
