Seniors made origami boats and tested their worth today!
Using measuring cups, the children poured precise measures into their vessels! We kept a count of all the millilitres we poured. The boats and a gentle hand stayed the same, but the amount of water we poured in changed- the basis of fair testing. Most boats were sea-worthy! Their design meant they displaced their weight quite well on the seas!A measuring cup! Pouring on 30mls! Some adjustments at sea! We have one or two additional designs. These were lovingly crafted with reinforcement materials- sellotape! A capsized vessel. An origami bird, from our first foray into our Japan projects!
